Demo of the first Apple Macintosh by Steve Jobs, January 1984, in front of 3000 people. Andy Hertzfeld captured the moment quite well in his retelling: "Pandemonium reigns as the demo completes. Steve has the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face, obviously holding back tears as he is overwhelmed by the moment. The ovation continues for at least five minutes before he quiets the crowd down."

However,,,,,I will never stop thanking those two "Steves" who created the APPLE, a world without Mac would be a slower world and I like fast...

you got to admit it. even bill gates admired the macintosh at that time. i still love apple, and still think their OS is more EFFICIENT than Windows. It's a shame that Windows went from awesome XP, to Vista. I hope they really come up with something really awesome for Windows 7. Until then, I'm staying with my mac. 

From 1 MB of RAM, this is pretty awesome, by any standards. What do you think 1 MB of RAM would do for you, today?
